ABSTRACT

After one year of the intervention, the results showed that: The model “Teacher participates in Reproductive health Education” at disadvantageous areas was built up in which integration Primary health care activities into Reproductive health education under the management of commune health worker. After 1 year of conducting the program, knowledge and attitude on prenatal care, postnatal care, natal care and family planning on women lived at Van Lang have been improved and reached at good level, however mother’s practice was increased un-noticeably. The recommendation; the model:” Teacher participates in Reproductive Health Education” in disadvantage our areas is good model and easy to apply. the model should be developed at mountainous area to implement reproductive health care. the pattern should be conducted in a large population and longer time to assess effectiveness of the pattern on behaviors, health, management and effective cost.

ABSTRACT

Study on KAP of environmental hygiene of 400 households at two mountainous communes belonging to Donghy district of Thainguyen province was conducted. The results showed that: the knowledge level and attitude of people about environmental hygiene weren't high (65% and 95.8%, respectively). And people haven't done practicing it well enough (0%). Some factors such as ethnic factors, education level and communication are closely related to knowledge, attitude of people about environmental hygiene

ABSTRACT

A survey on knowledge, attitude and practice (KAP) of reproductive health was conducted on 119 women (aged between 15 and 49 years old, had their children under 5 years old) at Tan Long commune, Dong Hy district, Thai Nguyen province on mother's health care and family planning. Results: KAP of these women wasn't good, in both pre and postnatal. It is recommended that health staff at Tan Long commune health station needs to participate actively in reproductive health education for women at isolated villages
